Since Microsoft released all the details on SharePoint 2010 at the SharePoint Conference 2009 in Las Vegas earlier this, SharePoint is the talk of the town. As an end-user trying to figure out what the fuzz is all about you are overwhelmed by the information released by Microsoft and the huge pile of tweets, blogs and articles found around the net, written by the vast community of SharePoint enthusiasts. This event compiles the available information into an easy-to-understand functional overview of the features that are important for you as an end-user, IT pro or decision maker. We make sure that neither technical knowledge nor experience with the previous version is needed to enjoy this introduction in the next big thing.

The event is divided into two tracks:
Session 1: What’s in it for me (1h30)?
Our experience has taught us what features are of great importance for enterprises in the Belgian market: some of these requirements were already available in the 2007 version; some of them were simply just missing. In this first session we’ll look at the most important improvements and the great new features introduced in the latest release of the product. As pictures says more than a thousand words all of these functionalities will be demonstrated in a live demo.
Session 2: Where to start (45 min)?
As we are sure we can convince you of the powerful features of the latest release, you’ll be eager to start right away. During this session we’ll do our best to answer the next questions that will pop into your mind: when is all of this available, what about licensing, how to upgrade to this release, which product versions are available, what are the system requirements or simply stated…where to start?! With a short introduction into these topics we’ll provide you with accurate information that should prepare you to take your organization to the next level and take one big leap into the FUTURE!
